The stress and trauma associated with serving in the armed forces can truly have an impact on your mental health. Transitioning out of the armed forces is a big change and accessing mental health support can be confusing. We have been working with veterans since 2019 and through our work you have let us know that serving in the armed forces offers a unifying camaraderie. However, through working with you, we have also realized that your needs are unique and must be cared for individually.
The Victims of Crime program offers services to underserved populations. The program seeks to empower victims of crimes of all ages to become survivors by providing steadfast support and advocacy. Our focus is on assisting you improve your mental health. We can provide therapists that are bilingual in Spanksh if requested.
AVANZA Family Services is a collaborative agency that purposely creates a community where domestic violence and Intimate Partner abuse are not tolerated. Our agency serves as a safe, welcoming environment for all survivors of domestic violence.
AVANZA Family Services offers our 40 Hour Domestic Violence Training that meets the requirements set by California Evidence Code 1037.1 for designation as a Domestic Violence Counselor.
